The Korea Music Label Industry Association's 'Kindie Lounge' introduces four noteworthy new releases for May. The four artists—Samyu, Yudabin Band, Ali, and Seouya—present stories of love, balance, longing, and passion, each through their unique colors.
Samyu's EP 'Um,' released on the 17th, is the first narrative capturing Samyu's journey towards finding balance within himself, an artist under Magic Strawberry Sound. This EP, which will lead to the upcoming full-length album 'Disbalance,' features energetic sound as its main element, implying its narrative direction. The tracks of 'Um' were first unveiled at the listening party 'Samyuru: Spicy Listening Event' held on the 26th of last month. Samyu is scheduled to meet fans on the 31st at the stage of 'MEETING ROOM,' a branded planning concert by Magic Strawberry Sound.
Yudabin Band, under MPG Music, released the single 'GET LUCKY!' on the 18th. This song, which was first introduced at the solo performance 'GET LUCKY!' and officially released about two weeks later, showcases Yudabin Band's punk rock style with hooking guitar riffs and refreshing vocals. In addition to the main track, a live recording is also released, offering a special experience to feel the vibrant energy shared between the audience and the artist.
On the 19th, singer Ali, from Music One Company, unveiled the new song 'Azalea Bloomed,' announcing the release of her new album after three years. This song is a delicate ballad that thoughtfully unfolds the memories of a warm love and lingering regrets, leaving a deep resonance with Ali's unique emotional vocals. Ali is set to hold her 20th anniversary concert 'Yongjin' on June 14th at the Grand Hall of Korea University.
Lastly, singer-songwriter Seouya, signed under Culturein, released the new song 'Your Blue Dawn' at noon on the 22nd. 'Your Blue Dawn' expresses feelings of longing and excitement for a distant lover, and deep love, over gentle piano melodies and lyrical tunes. Seouya's soft yet solid voice, combined with sincere lyrics, offers deep immersion to listeners.
