WSWF meets viewers around the world.
Mnet announced that ‘World of Street Woman Fighter’ (directed by Kwon Young-chan CP, Choi Jung-nam PD, hereafter ‘WSWF’) will premiere on the 27th (Tue) and will be available through various global OTT platforms.
Having expanded to a national competition, it is ready to meet viewers around the globe beyond Korea. This season will be broadcasted in various local pay TV channels after its domestic airing in countries such as Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Myanmar), the Middle East, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and the Maldives, including Viu, iQIYI, FPT Play, and tvN ASIA.
In the United States and Canada, it will be available for delayed viewing through platforms such as Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video.
In Japan, it is scheduled to be broadcast simultaneously with Korea through the local OTT platform ABEMA, thus confirming its release in 38 countries and regions through various global OTT platforms before its premiere. WSWF is expected to accelerate the ‘SWF Syndrome’ once again across the globe.
Furthermore, the broadcast of WSWF will also be streamed live in various countries and regions through global K-POP content platform Mnet Plus, as well as digital platforms like Tving and YouTube. English subtitles will be provided on Mnet Plus and The CHOOM YouTube channel, with Brazilian Portuguese subtitles newly introduced on The CHOOM to broaden access to viewers worldwide.
Previously, SWF caused a sensation in Season 1 by spotlighting dancers as the main stars. In Season 2, it opened the door to global expansion with the inclusion of overseas dance crews. With its monumental achievements proving new possibilities on world stages, global interest in the return of WSWF as a national competition is already notable. Attention is attracted to the return of WSWF, which will strike the global fans beyond the Republic of Korea.
Meanwhile, WSWF is the third season of Mnet’s mega hit ‘Street Woman Fighter,’ preparing to meet viewers in a national competition across five countries, including Korea, New Zealand, the United States, Japan, and Australia. A total of six crews will appear, including AG SQUAD, BUMSUP, MOTIV, OSAKA Ojo Gang, RHTokyo, and ROYAL FAMILY.
Mnet’s WSWF will premiere on Tuesday, May 27, at 10 p.m. (KST).
