'Figure skating queen' Kim Yuna's husband and member of Forestella, Ko Woorim, has touched fans' hearts with a certification photo he released after his military service completion. A single military uniform carried traces of love, support from colleagues, and Ko Woorim's sincerity.

After completing his defense duty on the 19th, Ko Woorim revealed a discharge certification photo through his social media on the 21st. In the photo, his military uniform and hat, along with the commendation certificate, were neatly arranged, capturing attention with a bright pink embroidery of 'Woorim♥Yuna' clearly stitched on the left chest. On the right side, various colors of names and messages engraved by his military band colleagues crowded together, impressing the depth of the time spent together.

Ko Woorim also shared his feelings about his discharge. He opened up on social media on the 21st, saying, 'This is civilian Ko Woorim returning. I've returned safely, without any injuries. Thank you to everyone who showed concern and encouragement.'

He continued, 'The May 2025 that seemed like it would never come has arrived before I knew it. There were moments that were sometimes frustrating and difficult, but I gained concerns and lessons that I could only acquire within those times. I look forward to seeing myself maturing even further.'

Having lived as the eldest among the military band members, he added, 'I stepped away from my familiar position among the younger ones and took on the role of an elder, nagging and feeling responsibility. It was more fun than I expected. I'm sincerely grateful to the juniors who followed well.'

In 2022, Ko Woorim drew attention by marrying former figure skater Kim Yuna, with whom he had been in a relationship for about four years. After spending about a year in newlywed life, he enlisted on November 2023. Post-discharge, Ko Woorim will communicate with fans through an official live broadcast, expressing his ambition to 'return to his original position and prepare for a new beginning.'

Meanwhile, Ko Woorim is scheduled to hold a solo fan meeting at KBS Arena in Gangseo District, Seoul, on June 7 and 8, marking his first official activity after discharge. The reunion with fans is expected to be filled with deeper music and stories than before.
