BOYNEXTDOOR has shown remarkable growth not only domestically but also in Japan.

According to Billboard Japan on the 21st, BOYNEXTDOOR (Seongho, Riu, Myungjaehyun, Taesan, Ihan, Unhak)'s mini 4th album 'No Genre' recorded a shipment of 180,616 copies in its first week of release in Japan (counting period May 12-18), securing the top spot on the 'Top Album Sales' chart.

One of Japan's 'national singers,' top artist Hoshino Gen's 6th studio album 'Gen' followed behind with a shipment of 94,214 copies. This indicates BOYNEXTDOOR's strong local popularity.

'No Genre' also topped the latest 'Weekly Album Ranking' announced by Oricon on the same day (as of May 26/counting period May 12-18). This marks the third consecutive week of number one on this chart following mini albums 'HOW?' and '19.99.'

Oricon explained on its official website, 'BOYNEXTDOOR has achieved a record-setting first-week sales that surpasses the previous work '19.99' with this album,' adding, 'This also exceeds the cumulative sales of '19.99' (in Japan).'

BOYNEXTDOOR's tracks are also strong. The title track 'I Feel Good' entered Billboard Japan's rising chart, 'Hot Shot Song' (counting period May 12-18), at number one. It was ranked 29th on the 'Hot 100,' indicating a smooth sailing ahead. On Korea's largest music site, Melon, both 'I Feel Good' and 'For Today, I LOVE YOU' have risen to the top ranks, gaining simultaneous popularity.

Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR's 'No Genre' recorded an initial sales volume of 1,166,419 copies in its first week of release (May 13-19), achieving the number one spot on the Hanteo chart's weekly chart for the third week of May. Thus, they have produced their second million seller less than two years after their debut.
