Boynextdoor (BOYNEXTDOOR) has shown remarkable growth not only in Korea but also in Japan.

According to Billboard Japan on the 21st, Boynextdoor (Seongho, Riu, Myeongjaehyeon, Taesan, Ihan, Unhak) sold 180,616 copies of their mini album 'No Genre' in its first week of release in Japan (aggregation period May 12-18), securing the top spot in 'Top Album Sales.'

Top artist Hoshino Gen, regarded as one of Japan's 'national singers,' followed with 94,214 copies sold of his 6th regular album 'Gen.' This highlights Boynextdoor's strong local popularity.

'No Genre' also topped Oricon's latest 'Weekly Album Ranking' (as of May 26, aggregation period May 12-18) announced the same day. This marks their third consecutive week at number one, following mini albums 'HOW?' and '19.99.'

Oricon explained in a news article on its website, 'Boynextdoor has achieved their best record, surpassing the first-week sales of their previous work '19.99' with this album.' They noted that this also exceeded the cumulative sales of '19.99' in Japan.

Boynextdoor's music is also performing strongly. The title track 'I Feel Good' debuted at number one on Billboard Japan's rising chart 'Hot Shot Song' (aggregation period May 12-18). It ranked 29th on the 'Hot 100,' indicating smooth sailing ahead. On Melon, Korea's largest music site, both 'I Feel Good' and 'Today Only I LOVE YOU' are rising in the charts and gaining popularity together.

Meanwhile, Boynextdoor's 'No Genre' recorded first-week sales of 1,166,419 copies (from May 13-19) and topped the Hanteo Chart's weekly chart in the third week of May. Thus, they have produced their second million-seller in under two years since their debut.
