The group Mechanism shared their thoughts on the release of the digital single 'Broken Time Machine.'

Mechanism is a group formed by the versatile entertainer Jo Hye-ryeon and the band Peppertones (Shin Jae-pyeong, Lee Jang-won). Their musical collaboration developed from a relationship formed when they sat at the same table during the '2nd Excuse Awards.'

This digital single includes two songs that deliver cheerful energy and warm comfort in Mechanism's unique style. First, the title track 'Broken Time Machine' features a medium tempo and a clear, lyrical melody. It expresses a yearning to return to childhood while reflecting on the irreversibility of reality, comparing it to a 'broken time machine.'

The included track 'I Heard I Am Now Pi (π)' showcases the delightful synergy between Jo Hye-ryeon and Peppertones, enhancing the upbeat rhythm with clever wordplay using 'pi' over funky and groovy beats.

Both songs feature lyrics by Jo Hye-ryeon, while Peppertones is responsible for the composition and arrangement, creating a unique musical synergy. In particular, the music video for the track 'I Heard I Am Now Pi (π)' was recorded by Yoo Jae-suk, the 'relay' responsible for 'Excuse,' adding to its significance. It has drawn attention as a fresh musical attempt, using 'Excuse' as a part of its concept.

Jo Hye-ryeon, who formed Mechanism, noted, "If you dream, it will come true. I am the happiest I have been in my 33 years as an entertainer, being able to work with the Peppertones, whom I really love, in a group called Mechanism. I will work hard, so please love us a lot."

Shin Jae-pyeong said, "Since it started with an unexpected meeting, the synergy that emerged was entirely unforeseen. The process of mixing tones that don't seem to fit together to create a new color was enjoyable," while Lee Jang-won added, "I seem to have spent the last few months captivated by the wonderful energy of senior Hye-ryeon, who continuously challenges and pushes forward. I hope you enjoy it."

Meanwhile, Mechanism's digital single 'Broken Time Machine' can be listened to on various music streaming sites.
