Koo Jun-yeob of the musical group Clon has lost a staggering 12 kg and has darkened his face since the passing of his wife, the late Seo Hee-won.

Recently, Taiwanese media outlet ET Today revealed updates on the family of Seo Hee-won through an interview with singer and actress Bai Bingbing.

According to the report, Koo Jun-yeob visits the grave of the late Seo Hee-won located in Jinbaoshan, Taiwan, every day to mourn her. It is reported that his mother-in-law, who has witnessed this, cannot hide her sorrow. Over three months have passed since the late Seo Hee-won left this world, but Koo Jun-yeob is still struggling with his grief, rapidly losing weight and darkening his face due to his daily visits to the grave.

Furthermore, on the 20th, Taiwanese media outlets including Yping News reported that Seo Hee-won's mother, Hwang Chun-mae, stated through her personal SNS that Koo Jun-yeob still misses the late Seo Hee-won.

Most importantly, Seo Hee-won's mother revealed that a statue of her daughter is scheduled to be completed by the first anniversary next year, and that the design of the statue is being directly handled by her husband, Koo Jun-yeob.

Hwang Chun-mae said, "The place is beautiful, and the statue design is truly lovely. Every sketch drawn by Koo Jun-yeob is beautiful. The reason he has darkened is that he was always there to watch over Hee-won. He is truly a loyal and affectionate person. Meeting someone like him in life is a blessing. A true love."

Earlier, Seo Hee-won's younger sister, Seo Hee-je, also recently drew attention by writing a tribute to the late Seo Hee-won on her SNS. She expressed, "My sister was always on my side. Although she pretended to be strong, she was a gentle and warm person. I still want to be held by her. Mom misses her a lot. If I don't take good care of things, I feel like my sister would have said something."

Meanwhile, the late Seo Hee-won was the protagonist in the Taiwanese original 'Boys Over Flowers' and was quite popular domestically as well. She met Koo Jun-yeob while he was active as part of Clon and dated him for a year, but they broke up due to various reasons. She later married Chinese businessman Wang So-bi. Seo Hee-won had two children with Wang So-bi but divorced in 2021 and remarried Koo Jun-yeob the following year, drawing immense attention.

Koo Jun-yeob and Seo Hee-won announced their surprise marriage in 2022, creating a buzz with their fairy-tale story of reuniting 20 years after their breakup. Their every move garnered attention, and blessings poured in from many, but just before their third anniversary, the unfortunate news broke.

Seo Hee-won passed away on Feb. 2 at a hospital in Tokyo, Japan. After departing for Japan with her family for a trip on Jan. 29, she was transported to the emergency room on the third day of the trip but succumbed to pneumonia caused by the flu. Subsequently, the bereaved family laid her to rest in Jinbaoshan, Taiwan.

After the death of his wife, Koo Jun-yeob has remained in Taiwan, halting all activities and keeping a low profile. Recent reports through photos have created concern as he has lost nearly 12 kg.
