Super Junior's Kyuhyun spoke out about the hateful comments that poured in after the conclusion of 'Devil's Plan 2.'
On the 20th, Kyuhyun posted a message on a fan community platform stating, "It must have been impossible to include everything in the broadcast," adding, "I also have a lot of regrets, but it can't be helped. I'll share the details later, so please don't be too upset."
He added, "If any grants participants feel this way, we are very close and understand each other well, so please view us nicely."
On the same day, the final episode of the Netflix entertainment program 'Devil's Plan: Death Room' was released, delivering strong immersion with twists upon twists. Conflicts between alliances heightened, and the final two contestants, Jeong Hyun-kyu and Yoon So-hee, competed in the finals over three rounds. True to the final match, Jeong Hyun-kyu emerged as the winner after an intense battle, taking home a prize of 380 million won.
However, throughout the broadcast, the exclusion and bullying among the participants were concerning, leading to strong criticism of Kyuhyun for yelling at announcer Kang Ji-young and other actions. Subsequently, Kyuhyun's personal social media has seen a flood of hateful comments from dissatisfied viewers.
The winner, Jeong Hyun-kyu, also faced a barrage of negative comments and issued an official apology, while Kyuhyun also expressed disappointment, saying, "I have a lot of regrets," attracting attention.
