Kim Geum-soon is the actress who once again left a deep impression on the public as 'Jenny's mom.'

The actress Kim Geum-soon, who captivated viewers with her brief appearance as Mi-hyang, 'Jenny's mom' in the Netflix series 'When Life Gives You Tangerines,' revealed an interview and photoshoot with Singles in its June issue.

In the released photoshoot, Kim Geum-soon highlighted her acting charm by contrasting the appearance of Jenny's mom, as if she has just returned from the 1980s, with her own.

In a subsequent interview after the photoshoot, Kim Geum-soon noted that although her character 'Jenny's mom' Mi-hyang has a brief appearance, she reflected on Mi-hyang's narrative to create an unforgettable character. She mentioned that the external aspects were well crafted by the costume, hair, and makeup team, and the character setting desired by the director was also clear. Although she thought of herself as perfectly fitting into a wealthy life in Seoul, she expressed a desire to portray a character that feels completely disconnected from that perspective, aiming to give a rough and vulgar impression through her speech and actions.

When asked about her greatest strength after finishing the project, she answered 'happiness.' Reflecting on the perfect preparations of her former seniors, props, lighting, and the crew on set, she recalled, "Every single scene was filmed with everyone focused, so a good result was inevitable. It is obvious that the passion and effort of those who create dictate the quality of the work, and I was happy to experience a set where it is not easy to find that."

At the end of the interview, she expressed a message she wanted to send to herself for not giving up on her dreams for a long time and to the readers of Singles by saying she would replace it with a line from 'When Life Gives You Tangerines': "Living means it will happen." This conveys a firmness that has allowed Kim Geum-soon to become the actress she is today, reflecting the warmth of a life mentor.
