JYP Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as JYP) rookie boy group KickFlip has unveiled the teaser for their title track "FREEZE."
KickFlip will release their second mini album "Kick Out, Flip Now!" on the 26th. JYP has shared the teaser for the title track "FREEZE" on their official SNS channels, raising the excitement for the comeback.
The teaser captures KickFlip's free-spirited image accompanied by energetic sound, drawing attention. Members Kyeo-Hoon, Amaruu, Dong-Hwa, Joo-Wang, Min-Jae, KJ, and Dong-Hyun display mischievous traits as they enjoy basketball and skateboarding throughout classrooms and rooftops, generating excitement. The funky melody with the lyrics "Kick out! We don't need no education Follow me, Flip now! Today is a Vacation So stop what you're doing, Freeze" adds a delightful charm, building anticipation for the complete track.
The mini album "Kick Out, Flip Now!" is a new release coming about four months after their debut album "Flip it, Kick it!" which was released on January 20, along with the title track "Mama Said (뭐가 되려고?)." It contains a total of seven songs, including the title track "FREEZE," "Let’s Do It," "Someday, the Sun Will Explode," "Electricity," "Complicated!!," "Code Red," and "How We KickFlip." The members participated in the production of some tracks, including the title song, completing a self-directed album.
Following their comeback activities, they will perform at various overseas music festivals this summer, continuing their momentum as a "K-pop super rookie." They will take the stage at the large global music festival "Lollapalooza Chicago," held from July 31 to August 3 (local time) at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, and the urban festival "SUMMER SONIC BANGKOK 2025" held on August 23-24 at Impact Challenger Hall in Bangkok, Thailand, showcasing their presence as a "next-generation stage artist."
Meanwhile, KickFlip's mini album "Kick Out, Flip Now!" and the title track "FREEZE" will be officially released on May 26 at 6 p.m. On the same day at 8 p.m., they will hold a comeback showcase at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to meet with fans. With a diverse range of teasing content themed around school life and promotion plans such as the production of T-shirts utilizing the titles of the new album tracks, KickFlip is expanding their connection with fans as they prepare for their first comeback activity.
