Peppertone and Jo Hye-ryun have come together as "Mechanism." What was discussed during the 'Pinggae Go' awards has become a reality.

Mechanism released the digital single "Broken Time Machine" and its music video on various music sites at noon on the 21st.

Mechanism, which includes Peppertone and Jo Hye-ryun, was formed through the '2nd Pinggae Go Awards.' The connection between Jo Hye-ryun and Peppertone, who sat at the same table during the awards, has led to this music release project.

This project album includes two tracks, "Broken Time Machine" and "I hear I've become Pi (π)," with Jo Hye-ryun writing the lyrics and Peppertone (PEPPERTONES) composing, delivering both warm comfort and cheerful energy.

The title track "Broken Time Machine" is a medium-tempo song characterized by a clear and lyrical melody. It expresses a yearning to return to childhood but poignantly addresses the unchangeable reality through the metaphor of a "broken time machine."

Peppertone's unique hopeful melodies and Jo Hye-ryun's lively vocals create synergy, offering a distinctive chemistry.

"I want to go back to my childhood, I want to get on the time machine / I want to go back and tell my younger self to wake up from the dream / But why can't I start it? It seems to be broken / Then there’s no way, I have no choice but to accept it."

The music video, which was released alongside, attracted attention as Yu Jae-suk, the host of 'Pinggae Go,' personally participated in the filming. The authentic visual quality faithful to the lyrics adds to the viewing enjoyment.

During their appearance, Peppertone and Jo Hye-ryun noted, "We hope that people who listen to this song gain strength and comfort." Anticipation is building for how this unexpected chemistry will provide healing for listeners.
