In an interview with the magazine alongside the photoshoot, j-hope said, 'I hope my music can be a positive energy for someone, just like the artists I admired when I was young. I want to grow into an artist who can deliver light and courage from anywhere.'
j-hope is regarded as a symbol of hope for countless fans and artists around the world. His world tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' was born while reminding of the essence of the name 'hope' he embodies. j-hope directly participated in all processes, including stage design, choreography, costumes, and props, infusing authenticity. In this regard, he stated, 'I will continue to present performances that bring everyone together through the power of music.'
j-hope set another milestone as the first Korean solo singer to perform at the BMO Stadium in the U.S. on April 4th. He reflected, 'As a member of BTS, I have performed in many stadiums, but this time I had to manage it alone. The fact that I overcame that energy and pressure remains significant.'
This year, j-hope demonstrated a strong presence as a solo artist by entering the Billboard main song chart 'Hot 100' with 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)' followed by 'MONA LISA.' He remarked, 'Both songs are part of the expanded musical world I'm creating while being easily relatable to the public. This is just the beginning. I will present more musical experimentation.'
Meanwhile, j-hope will hold the world tour 'j-hope Tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' in Taipei' on the 24th and 25th and meet with fans.
