Choo Sung Hoon, a mixed martial arts athlete and broadcaster, will reveal his Osaka visit on "Save Me! Homes."
On the 22nd, the MBC entertainment program "Save Me! Homes" (abbreviated as Homes) will feature Choo Sung Hoon and Joo Woo-jae heading to Osaka, Japan, for a local visit.
This episode will feature a "global local visit," marking the first time "Homes" has ventured overseas for a local visit. The first protagonist of the "global local visit" is broadcaster Choo Sung Hoon, who is taking Joo Woo-jae to his hometown of Osaka, Japan.
The two are heading to a judo dojo located in Tsuruhashi, Osaka. Choo Sung Hoon noted, "I started judo here with my father," as they began their tour of the dojo. He added, "At that time, the judo instructor taught on the first floor while running a bone-setting clinic on the second floor. If anyone got injured while training, they went straight upstairs," eliciting laughter.
Choo Sung Hoon, while looking around the unchanged dojo, discovers his photo, his father's photo, and several awards. At that moment, Joo Woo-jae demonstrates various falls at the dojo and ultimately challenges Choo Sung Hoon. In response, Choo Sung Hoon says, "I will grab your sleeve, so try to escape from my grip." This raises curiosity about whether Joo Woo-jae would manage to break free from Choo Sung Hoon's grip.
He also surprises everyone by saying, "If you wish to keep this dojo since my judo instructor is ill, please contact me."
The two then head to Tsuruhashi Station, located near the dojo, for a taste of Osaka's famous food. Choo Sung Hoon introduces the area, saying that it was originally known for its many yakiniku restaurants, mentioning that if you enter from the market side, the smell hits you right away.
Upon entering a restaurant, the two dive into a yakiniku eating broadcast. Choo Sung Hoon introduces his own standards for enjoying yakiniku deliciously and delivers an extraordinary eating show. Not to be outdone, Joo Woo-jae also showcases an unprecedented appetite, turning the studio upside down with his extraordinary eating performance, according to reports.
The two move to the central area of Osaka, Chuo Ward, to tour a high-rise tower mansion. Choo Sung Hoon explains that the concept of apartments differs between Korea and Japan, stating that in Japan, a building with three or more floors is called a "mansion," while a multi-family dwelling with two or fewer floors is referred to as an "APT.".
As the two enter the tower mansion, they repeatedly exclaim in awe at the expansive view of downtown Osaka from the wide living room. Choo Sung Hoon catches attention by introducing the essential spaces of a Japanese home. The episode will air at 10 p.m. on the 22nd.
