The global girl group KATSEYE, under HYBE and Geffen Records, is continuing to achieve good results on major Billboard charts with their new song 'Gnarly'.
According to the latest U.S. Billboard chart announced on the 20th (local time), KATSEYE's digital single 'Gnarly' ranked 31st on the 'Global (excluding U.S.)' chart and 46th on the 'Global 200' chart. This reflects an increase of 8 spots and 1 spot, respectively, compared to the previous week.
'Gnarly' made its debut at 92nd on Billboard's main song chart 'Hot 100' (dated May 17), setting a significant milestone. After entering at 52nd on the British Official 'Singles Top 100', also considered one of the two major charts in the world alongside Billboard, it has successfully stayed on the chart for two consecutive weeks.
KATSEYE is also gaining consistent popularity on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. 'Gnarly' rose 4 spots to 45th on Spotify's latest 'Daily Top Song Global' chart (dated May 19). On the 'Weekly Top Song Global' chart (dated May 9-15), it reached its highest position at 46th, surpassing the performance of their previous work 'Touch'.
KATSEYE has raised expectations for their second EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS', set to be released on June 27, through the bold sound and striking performance of 'Gnarly'. Previously, KATSEYE noted that this album would be a work that most clearly shows "what kind of group we are and what we are moving towards."
