The collaboration between the popular group EVNNE and the character Jangmanglupi, which has received hot interest from all age groups, is particularly attracting attention.
The popular group EVNNE is once again collaborating with Jangmanglupi this May, following their previous effort in April last year. Their song 'Almost, but Not Quite,' which expressed the excitement of first love and received great love, featured member Yoo Seung-eon, while this year's collaboration presents the lively new song 'Newbie,' featuring members Keita and Lee Jeong-hyun.
If the first album of Jangmanglupi released last year, 'Almost, but Not Quite,' captured the fresh love story blooming with ambiguous feelings, the second album 'Newbie' contains a more lively and vibrant love story unique to Jangmanglupi.
'Newbie' especially features a song harmonizing sweet acoustic guitar and lively drums, encapsulating the excitement of love and the tension of romantic push-and-pull. This album, which unfolds the romantic tension in music, portrays the thrilling process of exploring each other just before dating with a cheerful rhythm.
In addition, Lee Jeong-hyun of EVNNE and Jangmanglupi's energetic vocals, along with Keita's refreshing rap, capture the ears. The complex emotions of EVNNE and Jangmanglupi are expressed in diverse ways, with Jangmanglupi's signature cute melody hidden throughout, adding to the listening pleasure.
Collaborating with Jangmanglupi, the popular group EVNNE recently topped music charts with their title song 'HOT MESS' from their fourth mini album shortly after its release, and they won an award in the 'emerging artist' institutional sector at the '32nd Hanteo Music Awards 2024.'
Thanks to the warm support of fans domestically and internationally, they have held their first solo concert '2025 EVNNE CONCERT 'SET N GO'' at YES24 Live Hall since last month and are meeting global fans through tours in Taipei, Melbourne, and Sydney.
On June 29, they will participate in the lineup of the '2025 Seoul Park Music Festival' held at Seoul Olympic Park 88 Turf Square, showcasing their strong skills and charms on stage, which is expected to captivate the audience.
