Song Ga-in's amazing tribute lunchbox caught attention.
On the 19th, a video titled "Is a tribute lunchbox a Korean buffet?! SNS is going wild with the unprecedented first reveal of Song Ga-in's tribute lunchbox, just bring a spoon" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Song Ga-in.'
The video captured Song Ga-in’s daily life as she visited an event venue in Jeollabuk-do's Buan. Greeting fans warmly, she noted, “I saw the stage in advance today, and it was decorated in pink. I was happy to see the color of 'Again' (fan club). I matched my outfit to pink too,” expressing her unique affection.
Throughout the venue, pink banners were also installed. Song Ga-in expressed her gratitude for the fans' dedication, saying, “The fans hang them up wherever the events are held.” After finishing her performance, she laughed, saying, “I used up all my energy today. It's the first time I've had so many encores like today. I think I sang about 7 songs.” She added, “I think today’s stage was really better than others.”
After the concert, during mealtime, Song Ga-in revealed a 25-course lunchbox prepared by her fans. It was an abundant spread that evoked images of a Korean buffet, including Yeonpo-tang, galbi jjim, bossam, boiled cuttlefish, stir-fried squid and watercress, various types of kimchi, side dishes, and desserts.
She was amazed, saying, “It's a feast,” and added, “If there's anything left over like this, I take it home and eat it again. So, I’m really happy not to worry about side dishes. Idol fans are really surprised to see this kind of lunchbox,” she laughed.
What moved her the most was the handwritten letter sent along with the lunchbox. Song Ga-in shared, “Whenever I receive gifts, they always include a handwritten letter. There are really touching words, and I’m so grateful. This is something that can be tough unless you have feelings of affection for someone. It’s all heartfelt.”
In particular, after the meal, Song Ga-in boarded the bus where fans were gathered and held an impromptu fan meeting, bringing joy to the fans.
