(Following Interview ①) Lee Bong-ryeon mentioned her husband Lee Kyuhwa.

On the 20th, at a cafe in Gangnam, Seoul, actress Lee Bong-ryeon participated in an interview following the conclusion of tvN's "Resident Playbook."

The tvN weekend drama "Resident Playbook" (created by Shin Won-ho and Lee Woo-jung, directed by Lee Min-soo, written by Kim Song-hee, planned by CJ ENM Studios and produced by Egg is Coming) has gained attention as well as high ratings and view counts, garnering significant popularity as it concluded, with praise continuing for Lee Bong-ryeon, who showcased a remarkable performance with a high synchronization rate with Seo Jeong-min.

In particular, amid explosive reactions towards the romance of Go Youn-jung and Jung Joon-won, Lee Bong-ryeon mentioned about the secret relationship between the two, as seen by Professor 'Seo Jeong-min.'

Lee Bong-ryeon laughed, saying, "(Seo Jeong-min) probably knew about their relationship. I think he would have noticed right away. Can't they date? Even in reality, it happens among people who work together, not just in dramas. I married an actor too, so, well, it's such a natural flow, isn't it?"

Lee Bong-ryeon married actor Lee Kyuhwa, whom she met during her theater days in 2019. Regarding meeting her husband at a theater company, Lee Bong-ryeon said, "I wasn't in a secret relationship, and (my husband) was someone who couldn't hide it like Koo Do-won. I was completely clueless about whether he liked me or not; I thought he was just being nice. At that time, I was such a theater girl. The people next to me encouraged it."

The two previously made a surprise appearance in the Netflix series "Nonsensical Soap Opera." However, Lee Bong-ryeon said, "I really didn't know if we were in the same episode. I saw that we were in the same episode. As a father-in-law. I didn't like that role. I was thinking, 'Is it time to find the rice soup?'" This drew laughter. She added, "I didn't dislike it. It indicates there was such a reaction. I'm just feeling so fresh and excited."

She continued, "It's so funny that we appeared together in (the work). We just talk about it that way. The less people know we are a couple, the more fun the drama can be. As an actress, I think that way. I want to avoid working together on set."

When asked about her husband's reaction to "Resident Playbook," she said, "He liked it. He said, 'You did well. It felt like a doctor.' We always try to share only good stories with each other. Isn't it true that they know best what they can't do? So we only talk about the good things."

She added, "When there are dramas together, I watch. I feel a bit sorry if I don’t watch, so I try to catch everything even if it’s just for a moment and talk about it. In the end, we always say, 'Wasn't it good?' Sometimes, actors can be a bit spaced out. I occasionally see them lost in thought, and I don't want to say, 'That's too disappointing.' They seem to be thinking about it too."
