MBC announcer Oh Seung-hoon received the "Gold Blood Donation Medal" as the fruit of his 25 years of consistent philanthropic efforts. This meaningful award is given to those who have completed 50 blood donations, and Oh has proven his commitment to sharing over a long period.

Oh Seung-hoon shared his reflections on blood donation through his SNS on the 19th, stating, "I started donating blood for the first time with a friend in my sophomore year of high school." He recalled, "At that time, I thought the only way to help someone was through physical action," and he added, "A small gesture toward others was precisely blood donation."

He continued, "As I did it repeatedly, I began to doubt if I was trying to feel a sense of pride. However, I ultimately came to believe that the act of helping someone itself holds significance," sharing his heartfelt concerns.

Regarding the recent award, Oh noted, "I feel really proud today as this is an achievement received after 25 years," and he added, "This time, I was able to shake off all doubts." He also conveyed a blood donation encouragement message by stating, "25 donations receive a silver medal, 50 donations receive a gold medal, and thereafter, awards are given for 100 and 200 donations."

Meanwhile, Oh Seung-hoon began his broadcasting career in 2011 through MBC's 'Our Night - New Employee.' A notable 'brain announcer' with a background of graduating from KAIST and passing the bar exam, he is currently active as the host of MBC's current affairs program 'PD Notebook.'
