JYP's boy group KickFlip is currently promoting their new song 'FREEZE,' which redefines the refreshing concept.
The newcomer boy group KickFlip from JYP Entertainment (hereinafter JYP) will make their first comeback with their second mini album 'Kick Out, Flip Now!' and the title track 'FREEZE' on the 26th. JYP is gradually unveiling new album teasers and fresh content on KickFlip's official SNS channels to heat up the atmosphere.
Kyeo-hun, Amaru, Dong-hwa, Joo-wang, Min-je, K.Ju, and Dong-hyun showcased an exciting charm like protagonists from a high school movie while wearing school uniforms and gym clothes in the concept images, while also demonstrating a playful twist. Their unconventional poses, lying on the floor with desks and chairs tilted, caught the attention of many. Fans both domestically and internationally expressed their enthusiasm for the refreshing concept, which evolved from the school look clothing infused with KickFlip's unique free-spirited energy.
Since their debut activities, KickFlip has closely interacted with fans through abundant short-form videos, and this time, they have announced a diverse range of content for their comeback. They showcased short-form videos themed around school life, such as 'Sneaking snacks during gym class,' 'Unusual transfer student,' and 'How to skip class,' as well as the 'FREEZE TIME' series showing what each member does during their breaks. They also created and posted promotional posters in various places around the JYP headquarters, presenting a refreshing appearance like a fizzy drink that met the tastes of Generation Z.
On the 19th, they appeared on KBS Cool FM's radio program 'Lee Eun-ji's Music Plaza' for a special two-year anniversary broadcast, highlighting their freshness. They all appeared wearing white group t-shirts with red lettering that read, 'Codered but someday that sun will explode, so don't complicatedly Freeze. Let's kickflip and skip with electricity.' The seven members not only promoted their new album 'Kick Out, Flip Now!' using the unique custom t-shirts but also showcased their vocal abilities by performing 'Mama Said' and 'Yeah Okay' live.
The new album, imbued with KickFlip's unique refreshing energy, includes a total of seven tracks: the title track 'FREEZE,' 'Kickflip,' 'Someday the Sun Will Explode,' 'Electricity,' 'Complicated!!,' 'Code Red,' and 'How We KickFlip.' The members participated in the production of some tracks, including the title song, demonstrating their musical capabilities as newcomers.
KickFlip will officially release their debut first comeback work 'Kick Out, Flip Now!' and the title track 'FREEZE' at 6 p.m. on the 26th. On the same day at 8 p.m., they will hold a comeback showcase at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, and interact with fans.
