The rising star actor Jung Jun-won left comments about the end of 'Hospital Playlist.'

Jung Jun-won honestly said during an interview regarding the end of 'Hospital Playlist' at a café in Gangnam, Seoul, "It's a pity that six weeks went by so quickly, but I’m spending it with gratitude. I really didn’t know there would be this kind of reaction and interest. Our drama is a growth story, and the melodrama is not the main focus, so I wonder if Goo Do-won's kind and cool demeanor appealed to the viewers."

Jung Jun-won starred as Goo Do-won, a fourth-year resident in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department at Jongno Yulje Hospital, in the recently concluded tvN Sat-Sun drama 'Hospital Playlist' (hereafter referred to as 'Hospital Playlist'), gaining immense popularity. Equipped with a solid sense of calmness, determination, speed, and meticulousness, he captivated viewers with his Superman character in the obstetrics department, who would show up whenever something happened at the hospital, only to vanish once the situation was resolved.

Jung Jun-won noted, “When I saw the script, I felt that the character Goo Do-won was like a fantasy figure. Can a person be this good? My only goal was to make people feel that by the end of the drama, there should be at least one person like Goo Do-won around me. I read some negative opinions that became more convincing as time went on. That message was comforting,” he smiled.

Jung Jun-won has showcased his presence in various works, including 'Drug King,' the movie 'Dongju,' 'The Drug King,' 'The Table,' 'Little Forest,' and dramas 'VIP,' 'Hush,' and 'My Family.' The character Goo Do-won is a fresh character that makes audiences forget about his previous works. In this project, he finally made his name well-known to the public after playing love scenes with Go Youn-jung, who played the role of Oh Yi-young.

He said, “Many people call me Teacher Goo Do-won. I feel the popularity and feedback. Even friends who went quiet have started to contact me. It aired over six weeks, and I know it will quiet down after it ends. I have never worked on a much-talked-about project, and I have never been in the spotlight, so I try to enjoy it moderately and not get too excited. I only boast about it to my mom occasionally,” he laughed brightly.
