BBGIRLS is set to surprise fans with a new track.
The group BBGIRLS (Min-young, Eun-ji, Yu-na) will release their new digital single 'Hope' on the 28th at 6 p.m. through various online music sites.
'Hope' is a remake of the representative song by singer Byeon Jin-seop, which was released in 1989. BBGIRLS plans to reinterpret 'Hope' with their own emotional touch and colors, showcasing a unique charm.
In particular, BBGIRLS is heightening expectations by announcing the release of the remake track as a surprise gift for their fans ahead of their first official fan meeting 'Missing File 0803' after changing their group name on June 8.
Last year, BBGIRLS announced a fresh start under GLG and released their second single 'LOVE 2' in January. 'LOVE 2' steadily gained word-of-mouth popularity, re-entering major domestic music charts, and proved once again its power as a 'reversal icon' following 'Rollin.'
Additionally, it secured the top spot on the Australian iTunes K-pop chart and ranked highly in the top tier of 10 major countries. It also ranked up on dance charts and electronic charts, receiving a warm response from fans both domestically and internationally by entering the top ranks on Apple Music Korea's dance chart.
