The group TWS (Tours) concluded the official activities of their mini-album “TRY WITH US” after their appearance on SBS “Inkygayo” on the 18th.

TWS (Shin Yoo, Do Hoon, Young Jae, Hanjin, Ji Hoon, Kyung Min) captivated audiences with their delicate and sophisticated performance of the follow-up song “Lucky to be loved” on that day.

TWS expressed their feelings on official social media, saying, “Every moment on stage was precious, and I feel happy to be stronger with the 42 (fandom name) fans. Let’s continue to laugh together side by side in the future.”

▲ Authenticity adds ‘TWS-style freshness’...standing out as a representative youth icon of K-pop

TWS has led the refreshing wave of boy groups by prominently showcasing the classic K-pop style of ‘freshness’ in their previous albums. “TRY WITH US” is an album that continues this trend, as TWS deepened the unique genre ‘Boyhood Pop,’ which evokes the sparkling sentiments of youth in everyday life.

They authentically depicted the healthy sweat and laughter of today’s youth with the title track “Isn’t it cool to jump according to your heart?” During the comeback showcase, member Ji Hoon explained, “I will express the emotions felt while freely playing on stage honestly.” In this way, they not only showcased the concept of freshness but also stood out as icons representing youth while enjoying it highly.

▲ Grand slam achievement in music broadcasts...proving ‘unbeatable freshness’ with an unrivaled 1st place

TWS received explosive reactions to their unique youth energy. They achieved 6 wins by sweeping all music broadcast first place trophies with “Isn’t it cool to jump according to your heart?”, becoming the first grand slam winners of 2025. This achievement came approximately 1 year and 3 months after their debut, making them the first among fifth-generation boy groups. The song maintained its position on the Melon daily chart even after a month, entering a long-run popularity phase.

Additionally, TWS achieved 4 consecutive ‘half-million seller’ records with “TRY WITH US” and proudly received ‘Gold’ certification (over 100,000 copies shipped) from the Japan Record Association.

▲ Completion of Korean activities → Debut in Japan and participation in large festivals...accelerating global rush

After successfully completing the activities for “TRY WITH US,” TWS will head to Japan right away. They will announce their Japanese debut single “Nice to see you again” (original title はじめまして/はじめまして) on July 2 and commence full-scale local activities.

The single will include the title track of the same name, as well as the Japanese version of “The first meeting doesn’t go as planned” titled “plot twist -Japanese ver.-” and the opening theme song “BLOOM (feat. Ayumu Imazu)” from the TV animation “A bouquet for the ugly one.” TWS raised expectations for their debut by pre-releasing the audio of “plot twist -Japanese ver.-” at midnight on the 19th.

Performances proving their title as ‘fifth-generation representative all-rounders’ will continue. TWS will hold their first concert “2025 TWS TOUR ’24/7: WITH: US' IN SEOUL” from May 20 to 22, then from July, they will meet local fans in a total of 13 shows across six cities in Japan. In September, they will take the stage at the ‘ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025,’ the largest music festival in Japan.
