'Eungaezeu' hinted at pink hues as 'Resident Playbook' reached its finale.

The final episode aired on the tvN weekend drama 'Someday, a Wise Residency' (creators Shin Won-ho and Lee Woo-jung; directed by Lee Min-soo; written by Kim Song-hee; planned by CJ ENM Studios; produced by Egg Is Coming), hereafter referred to as 'Resident Playbook.'

On this day, Oi-young (played by Go Youn-jung) revealed during a dinner meeting with 'Eungaezeu' that "the son-in-law living together is Gu Do-won (played by Jung Jun-won). We are dating. Is that okay?" Amid questions like "Since when have you been dating? Who liked whom first?" and "Do the families know? Are we going to be co-son-in-laws?", Oi-young asked, "I'll handle things well, so please refrain from being overly concerned. Please keep it a secret at the hospital." However, contrary to Oi-young's request, all the nurses, doctors, and professors at Yuljae Hospital were aware of the two's romantic relationship.

The pink mood between Do-won and Oi-young continued. Gu Do-won was seen at the hospital bank, stating, "I want to take out one more loan for a year. I need a short-term savings account. I think I'll need it soon," showcasing his thorough preparation. In response, 'Eungaezeu' asked, "Soon, could it be for wedding funds?" and Do-won unconsciously replied, "Yes," generating excitement.

Later, Oi-young took on the task of cleaning a room to help Do-won prepare for his move. Oi-young expressed concern, saying, "Once it hits the second year, I might be busy and we won’t see each other much," yet reassured herself by saying, "I can just not go out," reigniting her desire to resign. During this time, Oi-young discovered a love note from Do-won's ex-girlfriend. While the two were squabbling, they were caught in a suspicious position by Oi-young's sister Oh Ju-young (played by Jeong Un-seon) and brother-in-law Gu Seung-won (played by Jeong Soon-won), but they humorously failed to realize the pink atmosphere, asking, "Are you two fighting now?"

Faced with a chaotic end of the year, 'Eungaezeu' found Oi-young, who had finished work late, approaching Do-won, who was waiting for her and had fallen asleep in his car, leading to a secret date. Consequently, Do-won appeared visibly flustered, and Oi-young discovered a bouquet in the back seat. Do-won remarked, "I wasn't going to give it here like this. Failed again. A surprise," adding, "I’m proud of how well you handled the first year. This is meant to encourage you to do well in the second year," while handing her a ring. Oi-young exclaimed, "What’s this for?" unable to hide her excitement, and Do-won responded, "Because I like you," sharing a sweet kiss.

The pink atmosphere between Sa-bi and Jae-il also lingered. While experiencing the first snowfall, Jae-il confessed inadvertently, "I find you the cutest when you talk about your principles." In response, Sa-bi inquired, "You know, but I have a tendency to need answers to my curiosities, so do you like me?" Jae-il replied, "Why are you asking so many questions? What’s there to be curious about? Of course I like you," delivering a straightforward confession.

Jae-il asked, "You’re right about everything, and you organized it well. I like you. What about you?" Sa-bi replied, "No," while expressing, "I do care about you and want to see you sometimes, but I don’t think we’re at the stage to date yet. There are principles to follow when dating through the seasons," offering a rejection that was not quite a rejection. She continued, "Since we met last March, I think we need to wait a bit more," while Jae-il insisted, "I don’t need to wait anymore. I genuinely like you," eliciting laughter.

Romance also began for Nam-kyung (played by Shin Si A). After work, while waiting for the bus, Nam-kyung encountered intern Tak Gi-on (played by Cha Kang-yoon). Following the departure of Nam-kyung's first patient that day, Gi-on asked, "Are you okay?" examining him, and Nam-kyung replied, "Thank you for today." Gi-on, who was recognized as an 'ace intern', then remarked, "I’ve decided which department I will go to. Aren’t you curious? It’s obstetrics and gynecology. I plan to go to this department."

Upon hearing this, Nam-kyung exclaimed, "Is it true? No changing your mind? It’s what you pledged, right? You thought it through well. You won’t regret it. I’ll take good care of you," unable to conceal his joy, while Gi-on requested, "I look forward to working with you," extending a handshake. As Nam-kyung took his hand, Gi-on firmly grasped Nam-kyung’s hand, which created a pink atmosphere.
