(Following interview②) Actor Go Youn-jung mentioned her family.

Recently, a round interview with Go Youn-jung, the actor from the tvN drama 'Resident Playbook' (hereinafter 'Resuljeon'), took place at a cafe in Seocho-gu, Seoul.

'Resuljeon' is a spin-off drama from 'Hospital Playlist,' depicting the growth of obstetrician residents. However, before its airing, major hospitals' residents collectively resigned, leading to a medical vacuum. Consequently, public sentiment toward 'Resuljeon,' which features a protagonist who is a resident at the center of the strike, was not favorable.

Eventually, the tvN side postponed the scheduling to the second half of the following year, and instead of 'Resuljeon,' which was supposed to follow 'The Queen of Tears,' 'Graduation' aired, with scheduling delays continuing thereafter.

In this regard, when asked about her family's reactions, Go Youn-jung said, “My mom loves watching me on TV, but last year she couldn't see me on TV at all. Whether it’s OTT or whatever, she has been watching what I’ve been in.”

However, she stated, “I already got fixed on 'Does This Love Translate?' right after filming 'Resuljeon,' so I started filming just four days after 'Resuljeon' concluded, and I was continuously filming. I haven't really thought much about it being delayed (in airing).”

In the drama, she worked with her older sister Oh Joo-young (played by Jeong Eun-seon), but in reality, she has a younger brother who is two years younger. Go Youn-jung remarked, “I think I’m close with my younger brother. We consult each other about our worries and talk a lot.” However, when asked, “Is your younger brother good-looking?” she laughed and said, “To my brother, I must look unattractive, and to me, he is also not good-looking.”

Moreover, regarding her younger brother, she shared, “When I come back from filming, I have no time to do laundry, especially when I’m filming abroad; I pack and unpack, and it gets messy, but my younger brother cleans up without me asking.” She also revealed their close relationship, saying, “My younger brother has now gotten a job. He is a public servant working in Seoul. Everyone in my family excels academically except for me. However, I don't think he talks about me to others. Except for a few friends, it seems like he doesn't mention having an older sister at his workplace.”

In particular, when asked about her younger brother's reaction to 'Resuljeon,' she replied, “I haven't received any feedback. He seems to be watching it though. Every Monday morning, he captures the ratings and sends them to me. It seems like the ratings are rising little by little compared to the beginning, and he seems to like it more than me. I think he is cheering for his older sister.”
