Bianca Sensori has once again found herself at the center of controversy in Spain for her provocative fashion choices as a fashion influencer and wife of hip-hop musician Kanye West ('YE').
On the 18th (local time), Sensori appeared at an outdoor market in Mallorca, Spain, wearing a sheer fishnet bralette that left her chest fully exposed. Her husband Kanye West quietly accompanied her as he observed the market from behind.
The issue arose immediately after their appearance was made public, with local residents expressing shock. One witness noted, "People passing by asked, 'Is that a real nipple?'" Another citizen expressed discomfort, saying, "Even if we didn’t want to see it, it was all visible."
Sensori walked freely around the market, dressed in black bikini bottoms and a long black scarf, while eating ice cream. Her long black hair and dark sunglasses covered most of her face.
The controversy soon escalated to a legal issue. Some internet users expressed anger, asking, "Why aren’t they being arrested?" However, the Catalonia region in Spain has legalized toplessness for women since 2020. According to local regulations, authorities could impose a fine of up to £430,000 (approximately 700 million won) for prohibiting or hindering it.
However, regardless of the law, Sensori's actions are provoking cultural sensitivity. Critiques range from stating that this is something only celebrities can do to sharp responses suggesting that a regular person would have been arrested by now.
This is not the first time Bianca Sensori's 'provocative fashion' has stirred controversy. During a trip to Italy last year, she also attracted attention for her sheer clothing, and the couple nearly faced investigation from local authorities for displaying overt affection on a boat. West faced global criticism after exposing his buttocks in front of onlooking tourists.
For this outing in Mallorca, Sensori's sister Angelina also accompanied her. She appeared relatively calm, dressed in a black dress.
Bianca Sensori, at the center of the controversy, continues to raise questions about how far her boundary-pushing style can be accepted, drawing public attention.
Meanwhile, in South Korea, West's first solo concert was canceled.
Concert organizer Coupang Play announced on the 19th, "Due to recent controversies surrounding singer Kanye, the 'YE Korean concert' scheduled for May 31 (Saturday) has been unfortunately canceled." They added, "Sales of Yeezy brand merchandise will also be suspended starting at 1 p.m. on May 19 (Monday)."
Previously, West faced controversy for antisemitic remarks and Nazi praise, and according to recent reports, he caused shock by releasing a song that glorifies dictator Adolf Hitler. He released the single 'Hail Hitler' on the 8th, the anniversary of Europe’s victory in World War II, after which the song was blocked on major streaming sites like Spotify.
