Shin Sung-woo noted that he has a 50-year age difference with his eldest son. He also said, "I'm in charge of managing the family's finances. If I save a bit, the kids can use it, but I have these thoughts." In response, Jang Ho-il remarked, "Shin Sung-woo has been a bit stingy for a long time."
Yoon So-i said, "He buys a lot for his juniors." Shin Sung-woo jokingly said while looking at Jang Ho-il, "If there's an older brother, why should I give mine?"
Shin Sung-woo said, "I'm not just looking at one thing, I'm the type who looks at two ahead. In case there's a problem, I worry that my family might struggle financially." He added, "Whenever the kids want to learn something, I try to make sure they do. I want to be prepared until the kids go to school so that my wife won't be flustered no matter what happens."
On that day, Shin Sung-woo drew attention by mentioning that his eldest son ranked first in a test. He said, "He is said to be in the top 20 nationwide. He did well on the test, but I wondered why he didn't tell me about it. When I asked him, he just went on his way."
Shin Sung-woo confidently stated, "I called him over separately, sat him on my knee, and told him I was proud of him for doing well," and added, "If he goes to Harvard, I will treat him."
Shin Sung-woo said, "I thought about how much of an amount would be enough even if I'm not there. That's why I've been buying up the rights to the albums I've released so far," stating that the copyright royalties are guaranteed for 70 years after his death, he noted that he has made a perfect plan for the future.
