Actress Jo Bo-ah expressed her honest feelings about the delay in the release of 'Knock-Off.'

On the 19th, an interview with Jo Bo-ah for the Netflix series 'Dear Hongrang' was held at a café in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

Debuting in 2012 with tvN's 'Shut Up Flower Boy Band,' Jo Bo-ah is celebrating her 13th year in the industry this year. In relation to this, when asked, 'Is there a point in your career that you would like to praise?' Jo Bo-ah said, "The fans have made dolls for each of the characters I've appeared in and gifted them to me. It also included 'Street Restaurant,' and when I counted, there were 19 of them."

She continued, "That itself is fulfilling. I want to praise myself for realizing that I have come this far without forgetting my original intention. There are times when I feel exhausted and overwhelmed, right? Those moments have always existed, but I want to commend myself for trying to overcome them."

In particular, he also talked about the delayed release of Disney+'s 'Knock-Off' due to controversy surrounding co-star Kim Soo-hyun.

Originally, Disney+ did not officially announce 'Knock-Off' as a 'project for April,' but it became widely known that it would be the series introduced after 'Hyperknife' in April. However, due to personal issues surrounding actor Kim Soo-hyun and his ex-girlfriend, the late Kim Sae-ron, the release of 'Knock-Off' was postponed, affecting Jo Bo-ah's first project after marriage.

When asked about her feelings regarding this, Jo Bo-ah smiled and said, "I know that this is something you are very curious about." She added, "I have to be very careful. My words could hurt someone, so I want to choose my words carefully."

She added, "It's just a work that I've worked hard on for a long time and one that I really care about. I believe that someday the efforts will be recognized, and there will be good results."

Meanwhile, the Netflix series 'Dear Hongrang' (written by Kim Jin-ah, directed by Kim Hong-seon), which debuted on the 16th, depicts the mystery melodrama of Hongrang, son of Joseon's largest merchant, who returns after 12 years with his memory lost, and the ambiguous feelings that sprout between him and his half-sister, Jae-i, who doubts his true identity. In this drama, Jo Bo-ah plays the role of Jae-i, who desperately searches for her brother.
