Actress Go Min-si donated 100 million won for children and youth.
The Korea-based international development cooperation NGO G Foundation (CEO Park Chung-kwan) noted that actress Go Min-si donated a total of 100 million won on May 18 to support underprivileged neighbors through warm sharing for domestic children, adolescents, and youth preparing for independence. This donation will be used for ▲ 50 million won to support vulnerable children and adolescents and ▲ 50 million won to support youth preparing for independence. G Foundation plans to provide various forms of support needed by children, such as meals and side dishes for domestic children and adolescents, livelihood and education expenses, and cultural experience activity costs for children in care facilities. Additionally, support will be provided for living expenses, groceries, education costs, and housing costs for youth who have begun to live independently, helping to establish a practical foundation for independence. CEO Park Chung-kwan of G Foundation said, "I express my heartfelt gratitude to actress Go Min-si, who consistently practices warm sharing every year for neighbors in need, adding, 'I believe this donation will become a deep comfort and message of hope that brings warmth to someone's life, beyond simple financial support. We will do our utmost to ensure that the precious sentiment conveyed reaches those who need it most among domestic children, adolescents, and youth preparing for independence.' Actress Go Min-si has previously practiced continuous sharing through G Foundation for various groups, including children and adolescents, single-parent families, and elderly living alone, spreading her positive influence. In particular, the donation made on May 18 will be delivered as warm hope to someone living today, along with the meaningful history that should be remembered.
