"The last story of the residents in 'Resident Playbook' unfolded.
The final episode of the tvN weekend drama 'Resident Playbook' (creator Shin Won-ho, Lee Woo-jung / directed by Lee Min-soo / written by Kim Song-hee / planned by CJ ENM Studios / produced by Egg is Coming) was released on the 18th.
On this day, Oi-young (Go Youn-jung) revealed during a dinner meeting with the 'Eung-ae-zu' that "the brother-in-law who lives together is Gu Do-won (Jung Joon-won). We're dating, okay?" This led to a flurry of questions like, "Since when have you been dating? Who liked whom first?" and, "Do the family members know? Are you becoming in-laws?" In response, Oi-young asked, "I can handle it, so please try to lose interest. Please keep it a secret at the hospital."
However, the next day, it drew attention that all the nurses, doctors, and professors knew. Mom Jae-il (Kang Yu-seok) grumbled, "What secret romance? It's only a secret to them. Everyone at the hospital knows." Notably, Gu Do-won visited the hospital bank and requested, "I want to take out one more 1-year deposit. I need a short-term savings account because I think I will have something to spend it on soon," showcasing his meticulous preparation. The 'Eung-ae-zu' then asked, "Could it be for wedding funds?" Do-won responded unconsciously, "Yes," generating excitement.
Subsequently, Oi-young began cleaning the room to help Do-won prepare for moving. Oi-young expressed her worries, saying, "Will we not be able to see each other much when I get busy in my second year?" while also passionately reigniting her desire to resign, stating, "I can just not go out." During this time, Oi-young discovered a love letter from Do-won's ex-girlfriend. The two, who were quarreling, were caught in a suspicious position by sister Oh Ju-young (Jung Un-sun) and brother-in-law Gu Seung-won (Jeong Sun-won), but amusingly failed to realize the pink atmosphere as they joked, "Are you fighting now?"
The 'Eung-ae-zu' found themselves in a hectic year-end. After finishing work late, Oi-young secretly met Do-won, who was waiting for her and fell asleep in his car. Do-won visibly panicked, and Oi-young noticed a bouquet in the back seat. Do-won exclaimed, "I wasn't planning to give it here like this. Another failure. Surprise!" He added, "It's impressive that you did well during your first year. This is to encourage you to do well in your second year," as he handed her a ring. Oi-young couldn't hide her excitement, asking, "Why are you giving me this?" and Do-won replied, "Because I like you," followed by a sweet kiss.
The special appearance in the final episode also caught attention. Time passed, and after Professor Lim Dong-joo's retirement ceremony, Professor Seo Jeong-min (Lee Bong-ryeon) did not select the obstetrics and gynecology professor Myung Won (Kim Hye-in). The obstetrics and gynecology professor who appeared was none other than Chu Min-ha (Ahn Eun-jin). To congratulate her appointment, Gong Gi-seon (Son Ji-yoon), Do-won, and Eun-won visited, when suddenly Yang Seok-hyung (Kim Dae-myeong) appeared holding a bouquet.
Seok-hyung, who made a loud entrance, remarked, "Congratulations, Professor Chu. I asked for flowers prettier than you, but there were no such flowers," delivering a sweet line. When he finally noticed the people, he hurriedly exited, saying, "I didn't know there were people here." Min-ha then said, "That's my husband. I guess he thought no one was here. He usually does cute things," bringing laughter.
