'K-band scene's top rookie' Dragon Pony has gained attention as 'Billboard's K-Pop Rookie of the Month'.

The U.S. music media Billboard published an article titled 'Dragon Pony Is Billboard’s K-Pop Rookie of the Month for May' on its official website on May 15 (local time), revealing that Dragon Pony (Ahn Tae-kyu, Pyeon Seong-hyeon, Kwon Se-hyeok, Ko Gang-hoon) has been selected as 'K-Pop Rookie of the Month' for May 2025.

Billboard noted, "Dragon Pony is a four-member rock band from Korea that showcases deep music based on fresh energy. All members actively participate in songwriting, composing, and producing, delivering genuine storytelling and redefining modern Korean rock."

In particular, Billboard highlighted that Dragon Pony debuted by performing at major music festival stages in Korea, such as the 'Busan International Rock Festival,' followed by a nationwide club tour, and that their solo concert in Taipei sold out completely, assessing their growth potential highly.

Dragon Pony also expressed in an interview with Billboard, "It is truly an honor and I am grateful to be selected as 'K-Pop Rookie of the Month.' We will work even harder to meet expectations and continue to grow to reach the Billboard charts."

Additionally, Dragon Pony shared their future goals by saying, "I want to go on a world tour to meet more fans. I hope to perform as a headliner at major festivals like 'Glastonbury' or 'Coachella,' and I definitely want to visit the 'Super Bowl halftime show.'"

Meanwhile, Dragon Pony will hold their solo concert 'Dragon Pony 1st Concert 'Not Out' in Taipei' on the 23rd and 24th, meeting local fans. They will also participate in major domestic festivals such as the 'Beautiful Mint Life 2025' on June 14 and the '2025 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival' on August 1, aiming to solidify their position as 'K-band scene's top rookie.'
