Go Youn-jung, Shin Si A, Kang Yu-seok, Han Ye-ji, and Jung Joon-won from the tvN weekend drama 'Resident Playbook' expressed their gratitude to the viewers.

Today (18th), ahead of the highly anticipated finale of the tvN weekend drama 'Resident Playbook' (creators Shin Won-ho and Lee Woo-jung / director Lee Min-soo / writer Kim Song-hee / planning CJ ENM Studios / production Egg Is Coming), the actors who worked together in the gynecology department of Jongno Yulje Hospital shared their reflections on the end of the series.

First, Go Youn-jung, who played the first-year resident Oi Young, showed a human, romantic, and coming-of-age portrayal, stating, "Every moment was precious and valuable, and it’s bittersweet to say my final goodbye. I sincerely thank the viewers who loved this work," adding, "Playing Lee Young allowed me to learn and grow a lot, and I believe this work has become another significant turning point for me. I will never forget the immense love and support you've given me and will strive to become a wise actor who responds with even better performances and works in the future."

Shin Si A, who played the delicate emotional role of resident Pyo Nam-gyeong, expressed, "It was an honor to meaningfully conclude my first drama. All the time I spent living as Nam-gyeong was incredibly happy and precious. I sincerely thank everyone who loved the drama and Nam-gyeong, and I will repay you with even better appearances in the future."

Kang Yu-seok, who played the resident Eom Jae-il, a former idol, noted, "Portraying Jae-il, who knows how to care for others and has perseverance, provided me with a lot of good energy. Through this work, I met precious people and was able to grow more both as an actor and as a person. I think this work delivered empathy and support to all newcomers in society and those starting new jobs, though it is set in a hospital. I hoped to convey bright and positive energy to the viewers through this character, and I hope my intentions were successfully communicated."

Han Ye-ji, who made her drama debut in the role of Super AI Kim Sa-bi, stated, "It was an honor to belong here as Sa-bi, and I was very happy to work with Lee Young, Nam-gyeong, Jae-il, and Do-won," confessing her affection for her colleagues. She added, "I worried a lot about not becoming a burden on this wonderful production, but thanks to the help of the staff and producers on set, I was able to conclude my role safely. I sincerely thank them."

Finally, Jung Joon-won, who played the role of Gu Do-won and is at the peak of his career, said, "These past six weeks went by so quickly that I almost didn't notice. This has been the most exciting and happiest time of my life. I believe I will never forget the time I spent meeting and living as Gu Do-won," adding, "Thanks to the director, the writers, the fellow actors, and the staff who joined me on this beautiful journey, every moment was precious, and the atmosphere was always filled with excitement and gratitude. I wish all the viewers who have supported us continue to stay healthy and be surrounded by joy."

In this way, the heartfelt final farewells of the actors have eased the regrets surrounding 'Resident Playbook.' The finale is set to depict the story of residents who are entering the closing pages of a tumultuous year. As they dream of a life as wise doctors, curiosity grows regarding whether these residents will be able to fulfill the dreams they have long cherished.

'Resident Playbook,' where the final stories of the residents will unfold, will broadcast its finale today (18th) at 9:20 p.m.
