The published photos included Um Jeong-hwa striking a pose while holding a large bouquet and cradling her dog.

The bouquet given by a friend included a message that said, "You really struggled to adapt to your new life over the past 15 years! I remember those moments more than anyone and respect you, and thank you for always overcoming it."

Meanwhile, Um Jeong-hwa discovered her thyroid cancer during a health check in 2010 and underwent surgery.
