Comedian Lee Kyung-sil directly addressed reports that her APT. has been put up for auction. She noted, "It has been resolved well," bringing the controversy to a close.

On the 16th, Lee Kyung-sil stated through her social media, "To get to the conclusion, it has been resolved well. I apologize to many who couldn't even ask and were surprised, curious, and worried." She clarified regarding the recent auction news of the APT. in Ichon-dong.

Previously, on the 15th, according to the real estate auction firm GG Auction, Lee Kyung-sil's APT. located in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, was scheduled to be auctioned on the 27th at the Seoul Western District Court. The APT. is a luxury dwelling with an exclusive area of 293㎡ (about 89 pyeong), which Lee Kyung-sil purchased for 1.4 billion won in 2007 and currently resides in. The auction process was ongoing due to debt issues, with the starting bid set at 2.55 billion won.

Lee Kyung-sil conveyed, "I was surprised and shocked to see the article come out while I was in the process of resolving it. Since my family and acquaintances were unaware, many people were shocked and feeling down," and added, "Some even burst into tears upon hearing the news that it has been resolved today."

She continued, "I invested a few years ago for stable income, and it was fine for a while, but things got complicated in recent years, leading to this situation," and stated, "I tried to quietly settle it before the article came out so that my kids wouldn’t find out, but it was embarrassing that the entire nation became aware."

In particular, she said, "During the filming while visiting my mother in Gunsan, I received a call from a close sister and had to leave urgently," adding, "I was worried that my mother might be shocked, and I was greatly comforted by those who sent me messages to ask how I was doing."

After Lee Kyung-sil's statement was released, online voices of support have been resonating, stating, "I was anxious, but I’m relieved," "It’s a relief that it has been resolved well," and "It’s sad to think that there were such concerns behind her always cheerful image."
