In Channel A's 'Heart Pairing,' Ji-yeon began her 'first contract relationship' with Ji-min and after a brunch date, started 'second contract relationship' with 'Mackerel Guy' Sang-yoon, continuing her path as a 'super popular woman.'

In the 10th episode of Channel A's dating program 'Heart Pairing' aired on the 16th, a total of 10 residents, including Sang-yoon, Woo-jae, Ji-yeon, Ji-min, Ji-won, Chan-hyung, Chang-hwan, Chae-eun, and Ha-neul, ignited a new romance as they began their final 'contract relationship' with the ambitious charm of Su-a, who was added as the last 'Mackerel Girl.' In their second 'contract relationship,' Sang-yoon paired with Ji-yeon, Chan-hyung with Chae-eun, and Chang-hwan with Su-a for a three-day 'contract relationship.' The residents Ji-min, Woo-jae, Ji-won, and Ha-neul, who failed to match, were paired with new partners who were not overlapping with their last 'contract relationship,' resulting in Woo-jae pairing with Ha-neul and Ji-min pairing with Ji-won for unexpected 'contract relationships.'

Two days before the 'second contract relationship,' the residents received a notice asking them to select a partner for the last three days of contract relationships, leading them to deep thought. Ji-min, who was keen on Ji-yeon, expressed anxiety about Sang-yoon, while Woo-jae, whose feelings for Ji-won grew, could not hide his disappointment. On the other hand, Chan-hyung burned with determination, saying, 'I need to do this without regrets,' while Sang-yoon, who hadn’t received any positive messages from Ji-yeon the day before, actively approached Ji-yeon saying, "I will make breakfast for you tomorrow."

Afterwards, intense behind-the-scenes work unfolded among the residents ahead of the 'second contract relationship.' Sang-yoon cooked kimchi stew and rolled omelet skillfully in front of Ji-yeon early in the morning, earning points. Ji-yeon, who received a heartfelt breakfast from Sang-yoon, said, "It's the first time someone has made breakfast for me, it's so delicious," and quickly finished a bowl. In the evening, Woo-jae prepared pasta, which he promised to make during his 'first contract relationship' with Ji-won, as they stayed in the 'Pairing House.' After tasting Woo-jae’s pasta, Ji-won reacted with, "I won’t starve if I live with you," making Woo-jae smile with satisfaction. During a date at a café, they expressed their regrets about not being able to choose each other in the 'second contract relationship.' They honestly shared that "it would be upsetting if things go well with someone else," deciding to keep talking in 'Pairing House,' saying, "We can make time for it." Ha-neul followed Ji-min, who was feeling down for not meeting Ji-yeon, and expressed her mixed feelings towards Ji-min, stating, "You seem uninterested when there are many people around."

On the very day before the start of the 'second contract relationship,' Ji-min had lunch with Ji-yeon. Upon meeting Ji-yeon, Ji-min joked about the 'gurgle incident' that brought them closer, saying, "I thought of you immediately when I heard my stomach 'gurgle.'" Throughout the meal, Ji-min took care of Ji-yeon's food and confessed that he took a day off to meet Ji-yeon before the 'second contract relationship,' saying, "Don’t wear perfume when you meet other men, would you rather use mine?" revealing his jealousy honestly. Additionally, while wishing, "Have fun," he also joked, "I have a feeling Sang-yoon will come out, don’t get too caught up in his good looks," easing Ji-yeon’s burden until the end.

As the sun set, the 'second contract relationship' began with Chan-hyung pairing with Chae-eun. Having confirmed their feelings for each other during their last date, the two said, '(The pairing) was somewhat expected,' as they proceeded with a deeper date. True to their appetite, they ordered a 'two-person three-menu' and confirmed their common hobbies with 'board games' and 'Legos,' promising a 'board game date' with the dream of doing it together when they have children. When Chan-hyung, a doctor and CEO, mentioned that he needed to work on Saturday morning, he expressed his regret, to which Chae-eun reassured him, saying, "I have plenty of time after 1 p.m." The two continued to have future-oriented discussions about 'marriage' and 'children,' showing similar tastes and values, which made the studio cast comment, "If their minds match, they could get married quickly; they seem like the most suitable couple for the theme of 'pairing.'"

Chang-hwan, who had been somewhat discouraged due to repeated matching failures, was surprised to see a new resident, Su-a, make a sudden appearance. The elegant-looking 'Mackerel Girl' Su-a captivated Chang-hwan right from their first meeting by looking into his eyes and expressing her feelings, saying, "I chose a date with Chang-hwan through the 'Pairing Book.'" Su-a introduced herself, saying, "I was born in 1993, studied in New York, worked as an airline attendant and then an English teacher, and am currently on the HR team of a foreign fashion company," and led the conversation with her bold personality, capturing Chang-hwan at once. Early in the date, Chang-hwan, who had mentioned, "I think I’m not normal," gradually began to reveal his unique charm as time went by, leading Lee Cheong-ah to remark, "I suddenly feel so relieved."

The last 'pairing' couple was Sang-yoon and Ji-yeon. Facing each other in a rooftop café where snow was falling, they gazed into each other's eyes for a long while, stating, "It's the first time seeing each other this way," before moving to a restaurant where they activated 'couple mode' by sitting next to each other and sharing their dating styles. After their meal, Sang-yoon recalled Ji-yeon’s casual remark about wanting to go ice skating and guided her to the ice rink she wanted to visit. Entering the empty skating rink, they naturally held hands and leaned on each other, creating memorable memories while skating in the snow coming down heavily. Particularly, throughout the date, Sang-yoon built their affection with natural physical touch showing consideration for Ji-yeon, even wrapping a scarf around her, exhibiting a lethal 'Mackerel ability' that threatened Ji-min and left the studio 'knocked down.'

The 'No Pairing Club' members, Woo-jae, Ji-min, Ji-won, and Ha-neul, who failed to match, automatically paired up as Woo-jae with Ha-neul and Ji-min with Ji-won according to the rule that ensures no overlap with their last 'contract relationship.' Ji-min and Ji-won, who were both from 'S Electronics,' displayed a relaxed chemistry after meeting, stating that "there's nothing they are curious about each other," and promised to play the role of a 'spy' to support their respective 'all-in partners,' Woo-jae and Ji-yeon, raising the laughter index. Woo-jae and Ha-neul also enjoyed a comfortable dinner in a 'older brother-younger sister' atmosphere, and as it kept snowing heavily through the evening, Ji-min lamented, "It seems like there’s meaning for them (Sang-yoon and Ji-yeon), this shouldn’t happen," which caused a burst of laughter. Meanwhile, Ha-neul cheered her on by looking for another opportunity with Ji-min in the 'Pairing House' where the four of them were gathered.
