Actor Yoo Su-bin is at the center of global hits from 'Weak Hero Class 2' to 'Tastefully Yours.'

According to the OTT aggregation site Flix Patrol, Yoo Su-bin's leading role in the Genie TV original 'Tastefully Yours' (creator Han Jun-hee, screenplay Jung Soo-yoon, directed by Park Dan-hee) entered global No. 2 in the Netflix TV show institutional sector as of the 14th, signaling a box office success. Furthermore, it has entered the TOP 10 in 84 countries worldwide and recorded No. 1 in 23 countries, writing a significant record.

The domestic response is also hot. Right after the release of the second episode on the 15th, it secured first place in the 'Top 10 series in South Korea today,' proving its box office power.

Additionally, the Netflix series 'Weak Hero Class 2' (screenplay Park Hyun-woo, Yoo Su-min, directed by Yoo Su-min, overall planning Han Jun-hee), which was released on the 25th of last month, recorded 6.1 million views during its first week (April 25–27), ranking No. 1 in the global TOP 10 series (non-English) institutional sector, and in the second week, it recorded 6.4 million views, reaching No. 2. Even after three weeks of release, it is maintaining its place in the TOP 10 in 33 countries, enjoying huge popularity.

Amid continued global audience interest in the two works, 'Weak Hero Class 2' and 'Tastefully Yours,' attention toward actor Yoo Su-bin, who showcases different charms in each work, is growing.

In 'Weak Hero 2,' Yoo Su-bin portrays Choi Hyo-man, the first bully character introduced at Eunjang High School, where Yeon Si-eun (played by Park Ji-hoon) transfers. In particular, he heightened the drama’s immersion by setting up a tense opposition with Yeon Si-eun in the early stages of the drama, making viewers deeply engrossed in 'Weak Hero 2.'

On the other hand, in 'Tastefully Yours,' he completely erased the face of Choi Hyo-man from 'Weak Hero 2,' transforming into Shin Chun-seung, the upbeat successor of a rice soup restaurant, infusing the drama with vibrancy through a warm performance.

Viewers are sending enthusiastic praises such as, "Shin Chun-seung in 'Tastefully Yours' is Choi Hyo-man from 'Weak Hero'... Really, the acting is outstanding," and "When 'Choi Hyo-man' appears, I was angry, but when I see 'Shin Chun-seung,' it's so funny I want to cry," and "Yoo Su-bin's acting is truly remarkable."

Thus, Yoo Su-bin has perfectly erased the face of each previous work, greeting viewers with a new appearance. It seems that the acclaim he receives as an 'actor you can trust' is going to continue for the foreseeable future as he stands out as an 'irreplaceable box office actor.'

Meanwhile, 'Tastefully Yours,' featuring Yoo Su-bin, airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 p.m. on ENA.
