BTS member V added a 500 million streaming song on the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify.

According to Spotify on the 17th, V's digital single "FRI(END)S" surpassed 500 million streams as of the 15th. It is V's second song to reach 500 million streams as a solo artist.

"FRI(END)S" is a song that expresses the sentiment of transitioning from a long-time friendship to a relationship that goes beyond being just friends. The sweet lyrics and soothing melody, along with V's vocal tone, create a perfect harmony.

This song entered the U.S. Billboard main song chart "Hot 100" at No. 65, as well as hitting No. 2 on the "Digital Song Sales" chart, No. 3 on the "Global (excluding U.S.)" chart, and No. 5 on the "Global 200" chart, even without V engaging in significant activities at the time of its release in March 2024.

Additionally, along with the U.S. Billboard, it marked V's global influence by reaching No. 13 on the UK "Official Singles Top 100," also known as one of the two major pop charts in the world. In specific charts, it was No. 1 on the "Official Singles Downloads" and No. 2 on the "Official Singles Sales."

Meanwhile, V has released a total of 12 solo songs that have surpassed 100 million streams, including "Love Me Again," which alone surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify.
