Actor Lee Dong-wook's promise has become a reality.
On the 24th, the YouTube channel 'DdeunDdeun' of Antenna Plus will present the first episode of 'KkangchonKangs', a spin-off content of the web variety show 'Pinggaego'.
'KkangchonKangs' captures the journey of Yoo Jae-suk, Lee Dong-wook, Nam Chang-hee, and Lee Sang-yi to a rural village in Gyeongbuk Uiseong, reaching deep into remote countryside.
They realize their dream of living in the countryside, which they had only imagined, at a production house without production staff, but soon confront reality. While they are expected to have a healing time that is closer to 'chaotic' than 'laid-back,' their rural life filled with laughter from seemingly mundane events is anticipated to provide viewers with a 'full recharge of laughter.'
DdeunDdeun recently caused a stir by winning the entertainment work award in the broadcasting category for 'Punghyanggo', a spin-off content of 'Pinggaego', at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards. Featuring the concept of 'No app spontaneous overseas travel', 'Punghyanggo' has garnered unprecedented popularity in the web entertainment sector with an average running time exceeding 100 minutes, making attention turn to 'KkangchonKangs'.
'KkangchonKangs' will be available on the YouTube channel 'DdeunDdeun' on the 24th at 9 a.m., with subsequent episodes released every Saturday at 9 a.m.
