On the 17th (Sat), KBS 2TV's 'Salimnam: Season 2' (hereafter 'Salimnam') will feature Go Ji-yong, a former member of the group Sechs Kies, as the third main character of 'Memory Salimnam.'

Sechs Kies, which appeared in 1997 like a comet, gained great popularity with their first album 'Academy Ballad' and left behind numerous hit songs such as 'The Man's Path (Subtitle: Form Life),' 'Love,' 'Chivalry,' and 'Couple,' standing shoulder to shoulder with the top first-generation idol H.O.T. Moreover, just a year after debuting, they caught the public's attention by jointly winning the grand prize with H.O.T. at the 'Seoul Music Awards,' and they continued their distinctive path by holding a concert at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, becoming the first idol to do so.

In particular, Go Ji-yong garnered a lot of love for his tall stature and prince-like appearance, earning the title of 'original pretty boy,' and he captured fans' attention by displaying a special chemistry with Eun Ji-won with his unexpected charm. However, Sechs Kies disbanded in 2000, just three years after their debut, and although they reunited 16 years later, Go Ji-yong returned to his daily life, embarking on a path as a businessman.

It is rumored that Go Ji-yong, who had distanced himself from the entertainment industry, decided to appear on 'Salimnam' after much contemplation.

A few years ago, Go Ji-yong sparked concern among many due to his noticeably emaciated appearance, and Eun Ji-won expressed his worries in a YouTube content last year with Jang Su-won, stating, "I’m really worried. Why are you so skinny?" In 'Salimnam,' Go Ji-yong revealed that he is now in much better condition, reassuring everyone, though he disclosed, "At that time, I was 180 cm tall and weighed 63 kg," raising interest in what might have transpired with him.

Additionally, Go Ji-yong, who is married to the beautiful doctor Heo Yang-im, will share his daily life running a restaurant and update on his son Seung-jae. Seung-jae, who appeared on 'The Return of Superman' at the age of 3, showing off his status as a genius in the top 0.1% in language intelligence and winning much love as the 'national clever kid,' is now reported to be attending a Training Institute for music prodigies.

In particular, Go Ji-yong conveys his longing for his close friend Eun Ji-won. While he expresses concern for Eun Ji-won's health, he adds, "It's been a while since we contacted. I miss you," sharing his affectionate feelings. Expectations are building as to whether a meeting between Go Ji-yong and Eun Ji-won, after 10 years since 2016, can finally take place.
