The group 'HI-BOYZ,' formed through 'Resident Playbook,' will appear on 'M Countdown.'

Actors Kang Yoo-seok and Tomorrow X Together's Subin and Yeonjun will perform on Mnet's 'M Countdown,' which airs at 6 p.m. on the 22nd, and they will be presenting the OST 'When That Day Comes' from 'Resident Playbook' (Creators Shin Won-ho, Lee Woo-jung / Director Lee Min-soo / Screenplay Kim Song-hee / Planning CJ ENM Studios / Production Egg is Coming).

HI-BOYZ, consisting of seven members including Um Jaey, Topkey, DI, Leeho, Million, Junhee, and Sungtan, debuted in 2011, with Um Jaey, Topkey, and DI as the three main vocalists.

Their debut song 'When That Day Comes' captures the stories of young lovers over a lively guitar riff, and it is set up as a hit song previously released by Um Jae-il (played by Kang Yoo-seok), a member of the idol group HI-BOYZ in the series.

Kang Yoo-seok is not only singing the OST as part of HI-BOYZ with Subin and Yeonjun, but is also grabbing attention by appearing in music broadcasts following the performance video shoot. In fact, 'When That Day Comes' entered the domestic major music chart Melon's TOP 100 right after its release, and the performance video teaser rose to No. 1 on YouTube's trending videos.

Thanks to this momentum, HI-BOYZ will take the stage on 'M Countdown' and are determined to showcase the refreshing energy of youth with their perfect choreography. In particular, Kang Yoo-seok is reportedly intensifying practice to deliver a high-quality performance ahead of their first music broadcast.

Meanwhile, tvN's 'Resident Playbook' is approaching its final episode on the 18th, and HI-BOYZ's appearance on Mnet's 'M Countdown' at 6 p.m. on the 22nd is expected to ease the disappointment of the series' conclusion.
