Monsta X's Shownu and Jooheon presented a unique eating show.
On the 16th broadcast of KBS2TV's 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant', Monsta X's Shownu, Jooheon, and Chef Lee Yeonbok went on a culinary journey to Turkey as the 'Boksta X' team.
On this day, Monsta X's Shownu and Jooheon visited Istanbul with Chef Lee Yeonbok to taste kaymak. Chef Lee Yeonbok attracted attention by explaining, "From 10 kg of fresh milk, only 400 g of kaymak is produced."
The cafe owner in Istanbul surprised everyone by pouring natural honey over the kaymak. Jooheon expressed his anticipation, saying, "It's a combination that can't taste bad." After tasting the kaymak, Chef Lee Yeonbok said, "It's different from the kaymak we had."
After tasting the kaymak, Jooheon was left speechless in admiration of the flavor. Shownu instantly showcased an eating performance, eliciting laughter.
Next, the Istanbul dessert, rice pudding known as kazan dibi, made its appearance. Chef Lee Yeonbok noted, "It's difficult to make, so it was said that only kings ate it in the past." After tasting the kazan dibi, Chef Lee Yeonbok exclaimed, "It's so delicious."
Jooheon evaluated it as, "It feels close to a rice cake." Chef Lee Yeonbok added, "It seems like glutinous rice is mixed with meat." The owner shocked everyone by revealing that it contained glutinous rice and chicken. Chef Lee Yeonbok remarked, "Now I understand why it was eaten by kings."
