Choo Sung Hoon openly revealed the reason he gave up on his daughter Choo Sa Rang's admission to a prestigious school in the United States. The reason was none other than a realistic concern about "racism."

Earlier, Choo Sung Hoon shared his daily life and LA fan meeting in a video released through his YouTube channel on the 15th. During a Q&A session with fans, he unexpectedly confessed that he had never felt racism in Hawaii, but it was different in New York.

He continued, "I tried to send Sa Rang to a prestigious private school in New York. I even went for an interview, but after hearing the stories of those living there, I gave up. I heard that New York had more severe discrimination, and I wondered if my child needed to study in such an environment."

In fact, the Choo Sung Hoon family already owns a high-end dwelling in Tokyo valued at around 5 billion won, yet they moved to Hawaii for their daughter Sa Rang's education, drawing attention. They are a family that is genuinely focused on their children's education. However, he noted, "The expenses were considerable, and there was no need to put the child in a dangerous environment," conveying the message that a "wise decision" was more important than simple wealth in the decision to give up on moving to New York.

Choo Sung Hoon also said, "I do not force my child to study or exercise. I just respect what Sa Rang wants to do. Shi Ho shares the same thinking," adding insights into the family’s values.

Meanwhile, Choo Sung Hoon married Japanese top model Yano Shiho in 2009 and welcomed his daughter Sa Rang in 2011. Sa Rang gained national affection through KBS2's "The Return of Superman" and is currently leading a healthy and bright life in Hawaii.
