Comedienne Lee Kyung-sil recently reported health issues exacerbated by worsening pharyngitis, even to the point of receiving IV therapy. In the midst of this, news emerged that Lee's APT. was being auctioned, leading to speculation that her health decline may be stemming from psychological stress.

Previously, on April 26, Lee shared on her social media, "The drama 'Love and Ambition,' which aired 19 years ago, has been uploaded on Netflix," and "The pharyngitis, which had subsided, flared up completely after recording two days ago, and it hurts so much that I feel like my throat is tearing apart and I can't speak at all."

She added, "I'm watching a drama I couldn't properly watch before, and it's oddly enjoyable now. It's a different kind of fun," while updating about her viewership of the drama. She expressed her affection, saying, "Being able to do 'Love and Ambition' was truly a great blessing. The writer Kim Soo-hyun is really an amazing person."

Earlier on April 21, she said, "I spent the night receiving IV therapy," and "Starting from yesterday morning, I started to get a sore throat, and my whole body was in pain. I took my usual medication and endured it, but as my symptoms changed, it eventually got so bad that even my eyeballs hurt," sharing a photo that showed her visibly unwell while receiving IV therapy.

Lee Kyung-sil's health decline appears increasingly complex, suggesting that it is more than simply cold symptoms. Speculation has arisen that recent 'auction stress' may be influencing her condition.

Recently, it has been revealed that an APT. owned by Lee Kyung-sil in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, has gone to auction due to failure to repay a collateral loan. This APT. was purchased by Lee in 2007 for 1.4 billion won, and it has a size of 89 pyeong, with an auction starting price of 2.55 billion won.

Furthermore, Lee Kyung-sil is currently appearing on TV CHOSUN's 'Lovers of Joseon,' where her efforts to support her son, Son Bo-seung, who is experiencing financial difficulties, have been showcased, evoking sympathy from viewers.

Amidst the burdens of economic strain and supporting her family, while continuing her broadcasting activities, there is a growing concern that the signs of health issues are more than just a simple cold.
