The group TWS will take part in Japan’s largest music festival.

According to their agency Pledis Entertainment on the 16th, TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) will participate in the ‘Rock In Japan Festival 2025’ held at Soga Sports Park in Chiba City, Japan from September 13-15 and 20-21.

‘Rock In Japan Festival’ is one of Japan’s four major rock festivals celebrating its 26th anniversary this year, boasting a large scale with a total attendance of 275,000 for last year’s performance. TWS, invited to the major festival ahead of their official debut, experienced the high status and popularity in the local area. They are set to take the stage on the 15th, the third day of the festival, to engage with the audience.

TWS will expand their presence across various stages with their official debut in Japan coming in July. In addition to the ‘Rock In Japan Festival 2025’, they will also perform at the music festival ‘The MusiQuest 2025’ taking place at Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo on July 6.

They are also preparing for their first Japan tour. The ’2025 TWS TOUR ’24/7:WITH:US' IN JAPAN' will kick off with a performance in Hiroshima on July 11, followed by shows in Aichi (13-15), Fukuoka (17-18), Miyagi (25-26), Osaka (28-30), and Kanagawa (August 9-10), totaling 13 performances across six cities. Prior to that, they will hold ’2025 TWS TOUR ’24/7:WITH:US' IN SEOUL' at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa, Seoul, from June 20-22 to meet with domestic fans.

TWS plans to solidify their popularity locally by leveraging their robust skills. They have established themselves as representatives of ‘powerful and refreshing’ performances with intuitive choreography featuring large arm and leg movements and sharp dance lines. Their strong live performance abilities, in addition to powerful movements, are also regarded as strengths. It remains to be seen whether they can continue to receive praise in Japan, having quickly established themselves as ‘the leading all-rounders of the fifth generation’ through domestic activities.

Meanwhile, TWS will release their first Japanese single ‘Nice to see you again’ (original title: はじめまして/はじめまして) on July 2. This single is a work that allows listeners to feel a special thrill in daily life, reminiscent of memories of shining summer days, capturing the refreshing and vibrant charms of the members. The first concept film for the single, released on the 15th, tells the story of keeping items that contain traces of sparkling youth in a time capsule, evoking empathy and nostalgia from viewers.
