In 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant,' Hayoung, who majored in art, confesses the reason she started acting.
On May 16, the KBS 2TV show 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' (hereafter 'Fun-Staurant') will feature newcomer chef Hayoung. Following Hayoung's first shoot, the 'Fun-Staurant' production team and evaluation panel head Chef Lee Yeon-bok reportedly praised her, saying, 'A treasure has come to Fun-Staurant,' increasing expectations for Hayoung's performance.
The VCR featuring Hayoung, released that day, begins in her one-room home where she started living alone a month ago. What caught the eye here were the stylishly placed paintings throughout the space. It turns out she painted them all herself. Hayoung stated, 'I've been doing art for a long time since I was a child. I graduated from an art middle school and an art high school, and I graduated from Ewha Womans University with a major in Western Painting,' noting that she has followed the path of art for over 10 years.
Moreover, after graduating from Ewha Womans University, Hayoung went abroad to study at the School of Visual Arts (SVA), which is known as one of the top three art schools in New York. So how did she become an actress? Regarding this, Hayoung revealed, 'While attending SVA, I took an acting class, and that experience in that class was really intense. At that moment, I decided without hesitation, 'I must act! Right now!'' In just two years since the switch to acting, Hayoung debuted and grew into a leading actress through her exceptional efforts over six years.
At the beginning of this year, Hayoung garnered attention for her role as nurse Cheon Jang-mi in the series 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call,' which has been very popular. At that time, she received praise for her detailed and lively acting. MC Boom asked Hayoung, 'I heard your father and sister are doctors, and your mother was a nurse (before). Did you seek advice from them?' To this, Hayoung said, 'Observing and feeling the atmosphere while working part-time at the hospital where my parents work seem to have unknowingly helped me.'
Meanwhile, Hayoung will shake up 'Fun-Staurant' with her extraordinary energy and amazing cooking skills. In particular, she will cook her favorite dish, ramen, with her unique recipes, while also revealing tips as she makes kimchi, showcasing her solid cooking abilities. Hayoung, a happy virus that makes those around her joyful, will appear on KBS 2TV's 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' airing Friday, May 16, at 8:30 p.m.
