'Palluntyer' Lee Yong-pyo, Hyun Young-min, and Baek Ji-hoon have triggered the jealousy of variety show giant Park Myung-soo.
On the 16th (Friday), KBS CoolFM 'Park Myung-soo's Radio Show' (hereafter 'Radio Show') featured 'the living history of Korean soccer' Lee Yong-pyo, Hyun Young-min, and Baek Ji-hoon, who revealed the behind-the-scenes of 'Palluntyer.' Park Myung-soo expressed his affection, stating, "They are always running in my heart." Nevertheless, he was amazed by the third appearance of 'Palluntyer' on the 'Radio Show,' saying, "Such thing has never happened in history."
That day, the witty remarks and variety sense of the 'Palluntyer' members were the topics of discussion. Lee Yong-pyo, who boasts exceptional smarts, was called the 'Yoo Jae-suk of soccer,' while Hyun Young-min, known for his sharp humor, earned the nickname 'Shin Dong-yup of soccer.' Park Myung-soo noted, "If these people keep appearing on variety shows, there will be no place for entertainers. I should talk to the president of the Comedy Association, Kim Hak-rae, to prevent them from coming out," he said, expressing his envy.
In particular, Hyun Young-min stirred the scene by casually bragging and recounting how he returned after a year in the Russian league due to 'the cold.' Park Myung-soo expressed concern, saying, "Hyun Young-min must be removed. Every word he says pops and resonates," causing laughter.
In the 'Search N Chart' segment prepared by broadcaster Jeon Min-ki, the top related word for 'Palluntyer' was 'Lee Chan-won.' The incredible transformation and clear commentary of Lee Chan-won, who challenged soccer and futsal commentary for the first time through 'Palluntyer,' has received positive reactions. Meanwhile, Park Myung-soo threw a cheeky question to 'N-jobbers' Lee Yong-pyo, Hyun Young-min, and Baek Ji-hoon, asking, "KBS vs SBS." To this, Lee Yong-pyo cleverly replied, "I am an honorary employee of KBS. I have an access card," cleverly averting the crisis.
Park Myung-soo admired Baek Ji-hoon, the 'original flower boy of soccer,' saying, "He looks more like a prince than a soccer player. His face is good enough to be an idol." On that day, Baek Ji-hoon confessed his lingering feelings regarding the title 'the prince of Advocaat.' He revealed that back in 2006, he had high expectations after receiving a scouting offer from Coach Advocaat to join a European league.
However, he did not play a single game in the World Cup, and after the tournament ended, it was Lee Ho and Kim Dong-jin who accompanied Coach Advocaat, not him. Baek Ji-hoon confessed his disappointment, saying, "I wasn't the only one who received such offers."
KBS2's 'Palluntyer,' where soccer legends play and donate, airs every Saturday night at 10:40 p.m.
