Reports of sightings of singer and actress IU and BTS member V have emerged.
On the 15th, reports of IU and V being seen at the restaurant Mosu Seoul, located in Yongsan District, Seoul, have continued to circulate primarily in online communities and social media. Mosu Seoul is a restaurant opened by chef Anh Sung-jae, who was a judge on the Netflix show "Culinary Class Wars."
In the released photo, V is seen in a comfortable sweatshirt, looking somewhere, and the woman in front, whose back is visible, is presumed to be IU. Notably, the woman is wearing a shirt similar to the checked shirt IU wore during a voice live session with fans just before her birthday on the 14th, leading to speculation about their meeting.
However, according to the sightings, the two were not alone at the table, and several acquaintances were reportedly present as well.
The two previously collaborated in the music video for IU's new song "Love Wins All," which was released last January. At the time, an internet user modified their names from the music video to "Tae-jun" and "Ji-hye," expressing an affectionate sentiment, and afterward, V shared behind-the-scenes photos on social media with the caption, "Tae-jun and Ji-hye, be happy," further fueling the obsession.
Moreover, V attended IU's encore concert held at Seoul World Cup Stadium last September and watched the performance. Fans' attention is focused on the continuing connection between the two.
Internet users who saw the sightings reacted with comments such as, "I wonder if IU and V made a reservation for tickets," "Tae-jun and Ji-hye met again," "They both seem to take care of people well, which is nice to see," and "It's heartwarming."
Meanwhile, V is set to be discharged on June 10, and IU will release her third remake album, "Flower Bookmark 3," on the 27th.
