Recently, the current state of Jeon Hyun-joo, the 8-year-old girl kidnapping and murder suspect known as the 'pregnant woman in late term,' who shook South Korea in 1997, will be revealed for the first time in SBS's 'The Day That Tails the Tale'.

Tonight (15th), SBS will air the first episode of the three-part special 'My Child Disappeared,' titled 'The Pregnant Kidnapper, Jeon Hyun-joo,' directed by Lee Keun-byeol, Lee Dong-won, and Ko Hye-rin. During this, comedian Jung Sung-ho, known as a father of five, drama 'Buried Hearts' heroine Hong Hwa-yeon, and Oh My Girl's Mimi will participate as listeners to discuss the shocking events of that day, which are still unforgettable.

In particular, it is reported that the recent state of Jeon Hyun-joo, the pregnant kidnapper who delivered shock at the time, will be revealed for the first time, raising interest. Jeon Hyun-joo, who kidnapped and murdered the 8-year-old girl, was a pregnant woman in late term, which amplified the shock of the situation. Furthermore, she utilized her condition as a pregnant woman to lower the child's guard and cleverly evade suspicion, providing further shock. Reports say that Jeon Hyun-joo justified her reason for kidnapping by stating, "What else can this body do to find money? Commit robbery? There’s nothing besides kidnapping that I can do," which still incites anger.

In response, Jung Sung-ho, who is famous in the entertainment industry as a father with five children, expressed his outrage repeatedly. He reportedly shed tears, saying, "This is something unimaginable from the perspective of a parent raising five children," while Oh My Girl's Mimi exclaimed, "How can a person with a child do this to another child?"

Especially, actress Hong Hwa-yeon, who learned about Jeon Hyun-joo giving birth in prison after being sentenced to life imprisonment, reportedly sobbed, saying, "This person should never be paroled," raising interest in Jeon Hyun-joo, the pregnant woman who killed another child to raise her own.

In this regard, the production team stated, "In 'The Day That Tails the Tale,' we will reveal the first episode 'The Pregnant Kidnapper Jeon Hyun-joo' from the three-part special 'My Child Disappeared,'" and noted, "The parents of Park Na-ri, who experienced the shocking incident, allowed us to broadcast their wishes that no one else suffers like Na-ri did."

Meanwhile, 'The Day That Tails the Tale' is a program where three 'storytellers' convey what they learned while studying to their respective 'story friends' in the most ordinary settings, and it airs on SBS every Thursday at 10:20 p.m.
