Lim Chang-jung held a national tour concert titled '2025 Lim Chang-jung 30th Anniversary
Not only does it encompass Lim Chang-jung's 30 years of musical journey, but it will also feature new songs and a medley of beloved classic songs, drawing anticipation from many spectators. Additionally, the word-of-mouth reports from concertgoers in Daegu highlight "a passionate performance lasting over 2 hours and 30 minutes" and comments like "I enjoyed it so much. I was happy the entire time listening."
As a result, the upcoming Seoul performance is set to record full seating sold out and an additional show was confirmed for June 1st. Lim Chang-jung is determined to create unforgettable memories with fans through this concert. To prepare, he has arranged familiar charm and genuine music, along with audience participation content.
Lim Chang-jung was involved in the operation force investment case in 2023, but he received a non-indictment ruling from the prosecution in 2024, revealing that he was a victim. After his comeback with the release of a regular album in December last year, Lim Chang-jung signed an exclusive contract with Jay-Z Star on the 14th.
As Lim Chang-jung successfully held his 30th anniversary concert and signed an exclusive contract with a new agency to announce the resumption of his activities, expectations are growing for his performance in 2025.
Meanwhile, Lim Chang-jung halted his activities amidst suspicions involving stock price manipulation, but he recently received a non-indictment ruling and made his return with the new song "What Happens Will Happen."
In April 2023, as Lim Chang-jung faced difficulties in his activities due to stock price manipulation allegations, the concert planning company drafted a damage settlement contract. The contract specifically stated a total damage amount of 1.12904 billion won, including performance guarantees and venue fees, and the planning company noted that it calculated the damages considering Lim Chang-jung's situation.
In response, Lim Chang-jung's side claimed, "The unreturned guarantee mentioned by the concert planning company includes not only the remaining concert guarantees that could not be held due to that incident but also the expense for the damages to the concert planning company, interest, future expected revenue, and even costs for producing a remake album. The actual debt amount differs from what is claimed. Currently, some of the damages have been settled, and due to loss of repayment ability at that time, a settlement agreement was drawn up according to the request of the concert planning company, enabling a transfer of ownership of the company-owned building to Company A, and actively cooperating with all legal demands while faithfully fulfilling repayment obligations."
The Jay-Z Star side, which Lim Chang-jung had conflicts with over differences of opinion, stated, "We had differences of opinion with Lim Chang-jung regarding the national tour concert 'Multiverse' previously. After the incident was reported in the media, we had sincere conversations with Lim Chang-jung for a long time, and decided to resolve misunderstandings and join hands again," leading to the signing of an exclusive contract with Lim Chang-jung.
