On the 15th, Jin Tae-hyeon and his wife Park Si-eun uploaded a video titled "The hardships of Park Si-eun and Jin Tae-hyeon's life always come" to their YouTube channel 'Little TV.'
In the video, Jin Tae-hyeon and Park Si-eun spoke about their Protestant faith. Before getting into the main topic, Jin Tae-hyeon confessed his diagnosis of thyroid cancer and talked about the reactions from those around him.
Jin Tae-hyeon said, "Last week, when I shared the news that I have cancer, many people have been sending their support and interest," and added, "I am grateful. I will recover quickly and be able to smile in front of everyone and report that I have been cured," emphasizing, "Please don’t worry."
In particular, he joked, "As I mentioned before, I will live until Si-eun and I can graffiti on the wall. Please don’t worry," and firmly stated, "In our lives, don’t be concerned with how the baby is doing or how the marathon is going. Just support us."
Jin Tae-hyeon stated, "After receiving the cancer diagnosis, I thought many other cancer patients would be worried too. It wasn't originally my concern, but as it became a concern, my perspective has broadened and I have grown."
He continued, "People say to us, 'You are doing so many good things,' but please don’t say that. We need to do more. We have to reach out to more places. Our daughter going to heaven (from the womb) is also part of that," to which Park Si-eun added, "Because we went through that, we were able to empathize and understand the pain."
Jin Tae-hyeon remarked, "That's right. We only knew about early miscarriages; we didn't know about mid or late miscarriages. Many people really have that kind of pain," as he sought to comfort the viewers.
Jin Tae-hyeon, who married fellow actor Park Si-eun, is supporting two daughters, including their adopted daughter, Davida, after raising them in a loving home. Before, they received congratulations on the pregnancy of their second daughter, but they suffered heartache after losing their daughter during the pregnancy. Recently, Jin Tae-hyeon has been receiving support following his thyroid cancer diagnosis.
