Singer IU is returning with her third remake album "Flower Bookmark 3."
The agency EDAM Entertainment announced, "IU will release her third remake album 'Flower Bookmark 3' on the 27th at 6 p.m."
"Flower Bookmark 3" is the third album in the remake project series "Flower Bookmark," which reinterprets classic songs with IU's unique sensibility and lyrical voice. It received a lot of love through "Flower Bookmark" in 2014 and "Flower Bookmark 2" in 2017, and this album is particularly meaningful as it marks the return of the series after about 8 years. Additionally, this album is a comeback approximately 1 year and 3 months after the release of the mini album "The Winning" in February of last year, raising expectations among fans and the public.
The revealed album cover image evokes faded film photographs, creating a warm analog feel. In particular, IU in the image leans against an old public phone, gazing at the camera, naturally evoking nostalgia from that era within a vintage atmosphere.
Through the "Flower Bookmark" series, IU has presented various remake songs such as "Autumn Morning," "Your Meaning," and "The Rain Falls on a Sleepless Night," receiving praise for interpreting the original songs' charm while infusing her own colors. Expectations are high for what songs IU will interpret with her unique sensibility in "Flower Bookmark 3."
